Really quick delivery considering it was coming from the States. The iron is easy on the stomach and don't need to avoid coffee or take vitamin C, unlike most iron supplements.
I’ve been on these supplements for about a year now, and it has changed my life. I suffered from really debilitating fatigue and dizziness, as a result of low iron deficiency despite being told by healthcare professionals in the NHS that my levels were normal. They were still low. I’m a vegetarian but being able to have a natural source in this way really, really helped me. I now recommend it for anyone who’s struggling with low iron because honestly, the natural iron is so much more efficient than the H&B stuff.
My Ferritin was at a 5 and In three months or so taking this it’s went up to the 100’s range! I’m so thankful I found this company. My teenage daughter who is a cross country runner was struggling with fatigue and could not keep up with her peers despite doing the same training. Her coach suggested getting her iron checked. I was iron deficient with anemia during my last pregnancy and felt TERRIBLE. Short of breath, restless legs, craved ICE all day, pale, super fatigued. I found out my ferritin was at a 9!! No wonder. I started taking 6 capsules a day (away from calcium) based on my weight according to the Iron Protocol and felt better within a couple of days!! My restless legs and ice cravings went away first! I am over the moon with this product. In a little less than 3 months my ferritin labs went from a 22 towards the end of September to a 62 by the beginning of December! My B12 and Folate are also in optimal range now. Plan to switch to the Simply Iron to make sure my B vitamins don't go too high. 100% recommend.
I started my iron deficiency journey with ferritin of 14. For 9 months I tried various types of non-heme iron, including small infusions, and only got to 35. I tried numerous iron supplements (iron bisglycinate, ferrous sulfate, etc.) and I was never able to significantly raise my ferritin numbers postpartum. Ive spent HOURS arguing with dumb people on the internet about iron. Three Arrows Simply has gotten me out of nonanemic iron deficiency twice and unfortunately I'm right back on the cowpills as my baby ate my entire ferritin storage... so thats fun, but at least there is Three Arrows! This iron is the best value per mg of iron, it's that simple. Anytime anyone has complained, whined or tried to find alternatives and I do the math: this stuff has the best value per mg of iron. It's that simple. Its okay on the digestion and I don't really have any sideeffects and it sure is cheaper than the horrible constipating pills the doc and pharmacy recommend.
